OUR VISION
The vision of Patria Ministries is to provide a covering and accountability for churches and ministries. We seek to provide an environment for the building of relationships where leaders can be strengthened and equipped through fellowship with one another. It is our desire to assist our family to:
EQUIP the Saints to reach their destiny;
EXPRESS the fullness of the Kingdom in all they do; and
ENGAGE the world with a message that matters.
To that end it is our desire to serve those who serve the Body of Christ and assist them in equipping an army for its end time mission. We desire to see the church return to a place where it directly, firmly and explicitly displays the Kingdom of God in all it does. It is essential that churches and ministries reach a place of maturity sufficient for their ministry to hold the attention of the world and draw them into a real relationship with Christ.
It is not our intention to build a vast network of churches and ministries, but rather to build relationship with those who identify with the core concept of ministries related as a family, clan or tribe.
WHO WE ARE
Patria is a Greek word used three times in the New Testament (Luke 3:4, Acts 3:25 and Ephesians 3:15) and translated as "lineage, kindred or family". The word itself speaks of paternal descent creating a group of families or an entire race or nation.
Ephesians 3:14-15
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, (NKJV)
Vine's explains the reference in Ephesians as relating to all those who are spiritually related to God the Father and thus being united to one another in "family" fellowship. Thayer's indicates the word is used for a race, tribe or group of families, all of whom lay claim to a common origin.
Patria Ministries is an association of churches. ministries and Kingdom minded businesses with common vision. Although each individual church, ministry or business may have its own distinctive (just as each individual member of a family has their own distinct identity), we are connected by our common strand of spiritual DNA . . .
STATEMENT OF FAITH
On God
We believe in one God, creator and sustainer of all things, infinitely perfect, holy, and eternally co-existing in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - who are omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent.
On the Authority of Scripture
We believe that the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the Word of God. We believe that the original manuscripts are the inspired, inerrant, and trustworthy Word of God, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of human beings, and the final authority for all matters about which it speaks. We believe that God still does everything today that He did in Scripture.
On God the Father
We believe in God the Father, who is an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love; that He mercifully concerns Himself in the affairs of mankind; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ . . .
What is Patria?
