Need Help with a Dream Interpretation

In my Dream there is what looks like a mushroom growing out of the back of my leg. Someone removes it (I can't remember who, maybe my mother-in-law, not sure if that is significant.) I look down at my leg after it has been removed, but it looks like there is maybe still a part of it in there. So, I use tweezers to pull the rest of it out. What I pull out is this long intricate root system of the mushroom, and there are these round nodules or balls attached to each end of the roots.

Sorry this is so gross! I can't seem to stop thinking about it and its disgusts me.

Please Help!
