The Storm

I was in the kitchen, and looked over to see the front of the microwave was pulled away exposing the wiring. I asked what happened, and immediately started reconnecting the wiring, putting it back together. As I finished, I looked out the kitchen window to see a storm rolling in. I looked at my husband, and he said, "I know, it's never been like this before. This is bad." The house was rocking and I could see the trees blowing dramatically outside. As I was gathering things up to get us to safety, my husband said, "come on," and he picked up a pulley on the front of our house, connected it to a large SUV type vehicle. I gathered up the kids, and loaded them in the truck. There were others evacuating too. I was packing clothes, but my husband said, "don't worry about it, we're taking the house with us. We began to drive away, I looked over to see a line of cars trying to get across a bridge that had flooded. My husband said, "we'll go this way, and we turned to drive off down this sunny paved road with trees (with beautiful fall colored leaves). The dream felt immediate, like it was taking place now, in this Fall season.
