1. I was with my father and he spoke of an idea about making action figure sized figures of heroic people and putting them up like an exhibition. He asked whether Rome of London would be better for this. I thought about it and said I prefer London.
At a modern mansion, designed with curves in the architecture, such a fixture of heroic figures were placed at the door of the mansion (indoors). Queen Elizabeth II of UK walked by and said, "oh, that's a terribly soothing fixture". She was not being sarcastic but was genuinely of that opinion.
2. My father reached out to me and spoke of his intention to buy a small plot of ocean facing land in Sai Kung (eastern Hong Kong). The quoted price is 2.1 Billion HKD. I said, not a good idea, that's way too expensive for a piece of land, besides there's no freehold land in Hong Kong (meaning, the government owns all the land and technically they're only "leasing" the land to you).
