I was in an old beat up 60’s Van. Maybe like a VW Bus. There were several people in it. James was in the passenger seat. Never saw the driver. James said he had a little gift for those that were with him. He said it wasn’t much, that he had already given everything that he had.
I knew one of them was me.
There was a man I was with but either never saw him or don’t remember who it was.
We stopped somewhere and James took out the gift and signed it. I never read what it said but I know it had his signature, and maybe a little note.
He handed me a maybe 7-8’ long baseboard heater. The heater still had the wires on it.
My first thought was, “what am I going to do with that?“
I knew he had taken it right out of his own house.
As he is showing it to me, he said
“Look! I put a Level on it too.” The level looked like a stud finder but he called it a level.
I told him “That’s Great. Now I’ll know where God is level in the room!” He said “That’s Right!” I knew this spoke of Level or “Balanced” teaching and was thinking that it having the look of a Stud Finder had to do with finding “Hidden Things”
After we talked about the gift he want to get back in the Van. I said “Thank you Papa Dutch.”
He stopped, but never turned around and then got in.
I was embarrassed but thankful that he was gracious and did not call me out on it.
He said he was thirsty so I offered him a Diet Pepsi. He didn’t know what that was but said he would take it. I went to get one out of my bag but couldn’t find it.
-scene changes.-
I’m still looking in my bag but I’m in a hotel.
I heard loud conversation in the street. I looked down and saw a man in a black trench oat, and hat, smoking a cigarette, confronting some of the other people in the van. I went down stairs and walked out in the street with them, in case anything happened. As I was standing in the street, I thought...
“Do I want to fight for these guys? I don’t even know them.”
James comes out and gets our group to leave.
