In a hospital, I am working as a nurse. My patient (a child) had a terminal condition. They were intubated through the nose, but was sitting up in hospital bed, interacting with me and other nurses. The dad comes in asking questions. He was planning on getting the breathing tube moved to the child’s mouth tomorrow and he was hoping to take her home like that. I was trying to explain you can’t take them home while they are intubated and on the ventilator, but only through getting a tracheostomy, but even that takes time for things to heal and things they need to learn before they go home. He was a little worked up and confused and I was trying to answer the “if it were my child” type of questions because he was very much ready to have her come home.

Dreams posted to the forum will be interpreted by students. They will likely accumulate during breaks between classes, so please keep this in mind.
