I am on a group tour and the tour guide brought us to this shop that sells all sort of sweets, cakes and desserts that are all individually wrapped in nice packaging, typical of all Japanese gifts and foodstuff. There are also tasting stations where they offer you some small pieces of the product for you to decide whether to buy the product.
I tried a small piece of Mochi (a sweet dessert in the shape of a ball, made of glutinous flour, springy texture, usually with a filling within it) and as I walked around the shop, the mochi grew and grew in my mouth till my cheeks are all filled up and I cannot speak. Then I saw another shop across the street that sells Sponge Cake and there was a queue, so obviously it had to be good. I was curious and walked over, still with the mochi in my mouth. After seeing the beautifully baked sponge cake, I wanted to buy that home as gifts for friends and family but I am unable to have a taste of it as the mochi was still in my mouth.
I walked back to the mochi shop and found something to pry the mochi out from my mouth. I felt relieved, that I can breathe again. My mind had also went to sponge cake and the mochi is no longer what I wanted anymore (though I loved both in real life). At that moment, an idol worship procession started in the mochi shop, with drums, gongs and banners. I left the mochi shop immediately.
