Mother in law

in Symbol Meanings

One part of a dream I had recently involved my mother in law, however, she looked completely different than she does in real life. She had been crying and was holding back tears while we talked. I started having a stabbing pain in my left side. I said ”I think Im hurting for you. Can I pray with you?” She said yes and I asked her what I could pray for her about. She said their car had broken down/was broken. I prayed for that for a while and then my side stopped hurting so I stopped praying.

I’m wondering if this is about my actually mother in law, or if she is a symbol since she looked completly different in the dream. Thanks for your insight!
