I was in a shopping mall browsing around in a boutique that sells Hello Kitty products ranging from clothes, bags, makeup etc.
(Hello Kitty is a fictional character that was created by Sanrio toy company and comes in the form of a cat without a mouth as its main characteristic, https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hello_Kitty) . In real life, I do not like Hello Kitty as I find it strange that the mouth is missing from the cat and the colouring is all sweet and pinkish, too girly for my taste. I would not have gone into the shop at all.
I tried on the face powder in the shop but it was the wrong shade and made me look all white and the sales assistant was of no help. I wipe it off my face.
Next I was browsing the bags but I did not like any of them. I left the shop empty handed and exited the building, walking towards my home a few blocks down the road. In my hands were also 2 books and a diary. As the books were getting heavier as I carry them walking, I decided to put them into my bag/ satchel.
When I opened my bag, I discovered that there were two bag straps (the type that are broad, sturdy, with hooks at the two ends, like those for gym bags) in there with the Hello Kitty logo imprinted on them as well as 2 bars of soap, in the characteristic Hello Kitty pink colour, also with the logo and wrapped in shrink wrap.
Not sure how these items appear in my bag as I am sure I did not even open my bag in the shop. As I was nearing home, I was thinking I’ll just return them the next day. But I felt uneasy with items that did not belong to me in my possession and decided to turn around to walk back to the shop to return the items.
