Stranger in my home

In the dream, I woke up from my sleep to look outside on a beautiful summer day to see out the window a new neighbors house to my surprise it was a black house. I was shocked that overnight a completely different house was next door. Then I turned in my room to see red and white paint painted on the side of my bed frame near the headrest. Then I look up and see a man in my room, I didn't know him and I felt very uncomfortable. I went downstairs and he was also there so I had found out that my mother had hired him to fix things in the house and I was very upset that she had a stranger just roaming around in my house and my room where my the kids were. After I realized this I started saying some rules to this man and what he wasn't allowed to do because it was my house and I felt exposed and uncomfortable that he was here. Then my mother cut me off yelling at me saying no! you will not tell this grown man what he is gonna be doing. So I walked back upstairs furious. There was nothing I could do. So I went back upstairs to gather the children in the bathroom because I didn't want them roaming around with this strange man in the house. When I came back to the room he was there again, I didn't feel comfortable at all. So I gathered all of them in the bathroom, but I was trying t also figure out how we all were gonna take showers because I didn't want to shower with the kids in there and I didn't want the girls bathing with my nephew but I didn't want any of the kids around him they needed to be near me so I could protect them.
